Terms of Use
What RevTone does
RevTone generates fictional engine sound on an iPhone. It estimates movement using phone sensors. It does not connect to or control a vehicle. RPM and gear displays are simulated and must not be used as driving instruments.
Safe use
Configure and secure the phone while parked. Do not interact with it while driving. Follow local traffic and noise laws, and use a safe audio level. Sound timing and output depend on the device and audio route; Bluetooth may introduce delay. Exterior-speaker use is unsupported.
Free use and purchases
RevTone provides a cumulative 10-minute live-drive trial on your device. All eight sounds can be previewed without using trial time. Six sounds are included for live driving and the 1 km simulation. A lifetime App Store purchase unlocks unlimited live driving, but does not include the two premium sounds. Supercharged V8 and High-Rev V10 are separate, optional, one-time App Store purchases that unlock those sounds for selection, simulation, and live driving, subject to the live-drive time limit unless lifetime access is also active. Prices appear in the app before purchase; there is no subscription. Apple handles billing and applicable refunds under its terms. You can restore purchases in the app’s Upgrade screen or Sound Library.
Availability
RevTone requires a supported iPhone and iOS version. Location access is needed for a live drive. The sound can be affected by GPS availability, phone placement, interruptions, and audio hardware. The simulation remains available without driving.
Intellectual property
RevTone sounds are original real-time synthesis. References to vehicle types or inspirations, if shown in the app, do not indicate affiliation, approval, or endorsement by vehicle manufacturers.
